Taylor Swift has unveiled three more album covers for the forthcoming Midnights, which is slated to come out on October 21. Each will only be available for seven days as pre-order offers in both vinyl and CD formats.
The album jackets intend to evoke the 1970s, including the wood panelling in the background.
All of the images include Taylor Swift looking pensive or at least not her happiest – which ties in with the album description that it deals with introspection over many a waking night.
The album cover colours are jade green, blood moon, mahogany and midnight blue, which correspond with the colours on the clockface visible on Swift’s website between the time she announced her album at the award ceremony, and the revelation of the title, which came some time later, from the singer’s personal social media handles.

Swift didn’t say anything much about the variants but has a post where she’s holding up all three of the forthcoming options. “August may have slipped away but September brings 3 new special edition covers! Pre-order Midnights collectible cd versions and unique colour vinyl versions now…”, the singer said.
While some fans believe that the vinyl has already been manufactured ahead of October 21, Swift might have been holding mockups in her video. With the new variants, there are nine packages of Swift’s upcoming musical work available and some fans are committed to buying all of them.

Swift’s upcoming album has 13 songs, with six on side A and the rest on side B. Not much is known about the tracks and the singer has another surprise up her sleeve as far as the picture on the back of the album cover is concerned. Thus, Swifties can expect more information about Midnights to emerge as the release date draws closer.
