Veteran actor Dilip Kumar hospitalised with breathing issues, says wife Saira Banu

Veteran actor Dilip Kumar was, on Sunday, admitted to PD Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai, his wife Saira Banu said. He was having breathing issues for the past few days, Banu said, news agency ANI reported.
This is the second time in two months that he has been admitted to the hospital. Kumar, 98, was admitted to a hospital in May. due to some health-related issue.

“Dilip Kumar Saab is recovering well and will be discharged from the hospital tomorrow,” ETimes quoted Banu as saying on May 1.
According to reports, the actor visits the hospital often for his routine check-ups.
The Bollywood actor had cancelled his birthday celebration in December last year due to the COVID pandemic and death in his family.
Last year, the screen icon lost his two younger brothers — Aslam Khan (88) and Ehsan Khan (90) — due to COVID-19.

Kumar, who made his debut with “Jwar Bhata” in 1944, has appeared in several iconic films in his career spanning over five decades, including “Kohinoor”, “Mughal-e-Azam”, “Devdas”, “Naya Daur”, “Ram Aur Shyam”, among others.
He was last seen on the big screen in “Qila” in 1998.
