There is no doubt that actor Vidya Balan is the queen of
traditional Indian attire in Bollywood. On numerous occasions, she has
shown her preference for classic weaves, handmade six yards, and exquisite
coordinated suit sets, providing us with iconic sartorial moments to remember.
Her most recent appearance, a yellow brocade silk saree, is also on the list,
and Dia Mirza even gave it a mention.

Vidya delighted her millions of Instagram fans on Thursday
by posting photographs of herself draped in a yellow Varanasi silk brocade
saree. The star simply captioned the photo with a sun emoticon and disclosed
that the six yards are from the Raw Mango apparel line.

Vidya’s silk brocade saree includes geometric floral buta
designs, gold patti borders on the pallu and hem, and an intricately designed
pallu in a bright yellow colour. She matched the exquisite drape with a
bright yellow blouse in a traditional style. It has a V-shaped neckline,
quarter-length sleeves, and a corseted waist.

Vidya styled the look by matching her accessories to the
colours of the saree. She accessorised with beautiful gold bangles studded with
gleaming stones and bold earrings. The glam options were completed with a small
bindi on the forehead, a center-parted sleek bun, heavy mascara on the lashes,
subtle smoky eye shadow, nude pink lip shade, glowing complexion, and a rosy
tint on the face.
