Lisa Marie Presley was admitted to the hospital Thursday after paramedics responded to her home for a suspected cardiac arrest. She is currently in intensive care on life support after suffering a reported near-fatal cardiac arrest.
Presley was in an induced coma and critical condition, according to a TMZ report. She has been fitted with a temporary pacemaker, the report added.
The singer’s mother Priscilla Presley confirmed the news on Facebook, she wrote, “My beloved daughter Lisa Marie was rushed to the hospital. She is now receiving the best care. Please keep her and our family in your prayers. We feel the prayers from around the world and ask for privacy during this time. -Priscilla Presley.”

Who is Priscilla Presley?
Priscilla Presley is an actor and businesswoman. She is the former wife of singer Elvis Presley. She is also the co-founder and former chairperson of Elvis Presley Enterprises (EPE), the company that turned Graceland into one of the top tourist attractions.
Presley co-starred with Leslie Nielsen in the three Naked Gun films and played the role of Jenna Wade on the long-running television series Dallas.

She was born on May 24 at Brooklyn Naval Hospital in Brooklyn. Her biological father was US Navy pilot James Frederick Wagner and her mother’s name was Ann.
She met Elvis Presley in 1959 and after eight years of dating, she married him on May 1, 1967. As their marriage was winding down, she started learning acting and karate. After Elvis’ death, she went into business and start work in films and television.

Elvis and Priscilla separated on February 24, 1972, and filed for legal separation on July 26, which was finalized on October 9, 1973. The couple agreed to share custody of their daughter Priscilla was given an outright cash payment of $725,000 including spousal support, child support, 5% of Elvis’ new publishing companies, and 50% of the income from the sale of their Beverly Hills house.

In 1973, she set up her clothing boutique in Los Angeles called Bis & Beau with her friend and stylist Olivia Bis. She has had several romantic relationships since her separation from Elvis including karate instructor Mike Stone, photographer Terry O’Neill, lawyer Robert Kardashian, hairdresser Elie Ezerzer and financier Kirk Kerkorian.
