Lisa Marie Presley, singer-songwriter and daughter of Elvis
and Priscilla Presley, has died. She was 54. She was rushed to the hospital after emergency services technicians (EMTs) responded to a call for possible cardiac arrest at her home in Calabasas, California. Paramedics performed CPR on Presley before she was taken to the hospital, according to a TMZ report. 

She was at the Golden Globe Awards on Tuesday night in Beverly Hill. She and her mother, Priscilla Presley, were on hand to see Austin Butler win a Globe for his portrayal of the King of Rock n’ Roll in the film “Elvis.”

Who is Lisa Marie Presley?

Lisa Marie Presley was a singer and songwriter. She was the daughter of late singer Elvis Presley and actor Priscilla Presley. She made a career in the music business and had released three albums – To Whom It May Concern in 2003, Now What in 2005, and Storm & Grace in 2012. Her first album received Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America. Presley had also released some single tracks, including duets with her father using tracks he released before he died.

Presley was born on February 1, 1968, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis in midtown Memphis, Tennessee. After her parents separated, she lived with her mother in Los Angeles, California, with frequent stays with her father at Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee.

On her 25th birthday in 1993, Presley inherited her father’s estate, which had grown to an estimated $100 million. She was holding 85% of the estate in 2004.

She had been married four times. On October 3, 1988, she married musician, Danny Keough. They had two children: daughter Riley Keough and son Benjamin Storm. The couple divorced in the Dominican Republic on May 6, 1994.

Twenty days later, she married singer Michael Jackon. In January 1996, citing irreconcilable differences, Presley filed for divorce, according to legal documents.

In 2000, Presley was engaged to musician John Oszajca. She called off the engagement after meeting Nicolas Cage. Her third marriage was to cage on August 10, 2002. Cage filed for divorce on November 25, 2002, and the divorce was settled in 2004.

She married for the fourth time in January 2006 to Michael Lockwood, guitarist, music producer, and director. Two years later, Presley announced that she was pregnant and gave birth to fraternal twin daughters in October 2008. In 2016, she filed for divorce from Michael. However, the separation was marred by a series of serious allegations and more legal issues.
