Who is YK Osiris?

Musician YK Osiris got into a fight while leaving Cardi B’s 30th birthday celebration. His security guards understood it probably wasn’t a good idea for him to get into a scuffle with a man who wanted to ‘knock off his head’, TMZ reported. The Worth It singer exited Cardi B’s celebrity-studded party in WeHo on Tuesday night and got into his car, but a visibly enraged man approached his Lamborghini Urus and began yelling obscenities at him. The security guards made sure that the situation did not escalate. The reasons for the fight are unknown.

Who is YK Orisis?

Osiris Jahkail Williams, an American singer, was born on September 7, 1998, in Jacksonville, Florida. He has one brother and six sisters, according to thefamouspeople.com.

The 24-year-old started creating music at an early age. The Florida-based rapper and R&B vocalist is professionally known as YK Orisis.

Williams posted his song Fake Love in 2017 using his real name, but afterwards used the stage name “YK Osiris” (YK stands for Young King) for further recordings.

He gathered his initial fame with the release of the songs I’m Next (Freestyle) and Valentine. These two songs were later remixed by Lil Uzi Vert, an American rapper, singer and songwriter. 

 The song Valentine was an immediate success and received millions of views on Osiris’s YouTube channel within a small duration. It was this song that brought him in touch with Def Jam.

He joined Def Jam Recordings in 2019, and his song Worth It was widely accepted and it reached the peak position of number 48 on the Billboard Hot 100. This song was the main single of his debut album titled The Golden Child.

Osiris creates soulful songs by fusing classic music with modern rap. He is well renowned for writing songs about love and heartbreak, a genre that is wholly distinct from new-age rap.
