“I am doing great. I’ve had my very own ‘It’s a wonderful life’ week of people insisting I make the world slightly better. Wow! Thank you, I love everyone right now but let’s keep expectations reasonable,” he tweeted, with his usual humorous touch.
During the shoot for season six of “Better Call Saul,” Odenkirk collapsed on the set and was rushed to the hospital, according to media reports. Although the reason behind his health condition wasn’t detailed at the time.
However, on July 31, the actor himself took to Twitter and wrote: “I had a small heart attack. But I’m going to be ok thanks to Rosa Estrada and the doctors who knew how to fix the blockage without surgery.”
At the time, he had thanked his family and friends who surrounded him during the tough week. “And for the outpouring of love from everyone who expressed concern and care for me. It’s overwhelming. But I feel the love and it means so much,” the “Breaking Bad” actor added.
