From Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, many top leaders performed yoga across the country on Tuesday to celebrate International Yoga Day. Narendra Modi led the celebrations from the iconic PMysuru Palace in Mysore, Karnataka.
Addressing the gathering, he said Yoga brings peace to our universe and gave hope for a healthy life to humanity.
“Yoga brings peace for us, the peace from Yoga is not only for individuals, Yoga brings peace to our society, nation, the world and the universe,” PM Modi said, quoting rishis, maharshis and acharyas.
