Watch: This toddler’s Alexa instructions to play ‘dum dum diga diga’ is now viral

Recently, a video of a kid asking Alexa device to play one of his favourite songs went viral on social media and it’s an absolute delight to catch his reaction. Before we go any further, let’s watch the video!!

In the video, which was shared by an Instagram account ‘Tintinkabacha’, the kid whose name is Kabir Sood can be seen instructing Alexa,  a cloud-based automated voice service by Amazon, to play what seems his favourite songs ‘Dum Dum Diga Diga.’

To instruct the device, Kabir says, in a curious baby voice of course, “Alexa play dum dum diga diga, mausam bheega bheega.”

The way in which the toddler pronounces the name of the song will surely make your heart melt with love. Now what’s even more adorable is the way he reacts when his number plays.

The kid breaks into dance and giggles as soon as his song comes up.

Further in the video, Kabir also asks Alexa to play ‘The Banana Boat’ Song. Sadly, Alexa couldn’t understand the instructions. However, the adorable baby listened to what the device had to say intently, while his mother could be heard laughing from behind the camera

A few moments later, Kabir gets successful in feeding the device the correct instructions and Alexa plays ‘The Banana Boat Song’ that left the kid overjoyed and nearly in dance.

Soon after the video made it to social media, it went viral and was being widely shared. It has over 8,000 likes on Instagram and the comment section is full of praises for the happy kid.

As for the song go, Dum Dum Diga Diga is an iconic song sung by Mukesh from the 1960 film Chhalia. It starred veteran actors Raj Kapoor and Nutan in the lead roles. The music was composed by Kalyanji and Anandji.
