The Batadroba constituency is currently held by BJP
candidate Angoorlata Deka, who defeated Gautam Bora of the Congress in 2016.
The seat, one of Assam’s 126 assembly constituencies, falls under the Kaliabor
Lok Sabha constituency.

Congress MP Gourav Gogoi currently holds the Kaliabor Lok
Sabha seat, defeating Moni Madhab Mahanta of the AGP in the 2019 General
Elections.

Batadroba was won by the BJP for the first time in 2016
assembly elections. Previously, the seat has seen AGP candidates winning twice,
a Revolutionary Communist Party candidate once, and Congress scoring five
