‘Bahubali’ Prabhas turns 41 today: A look at superstar’s upcoming big films

Indian superstar Prabhas, popular for his role as ‘Bahubali’, has turned 41 on Friday. The actor, who debuted with ‘Eeswar’ in 2002, is famous for his work in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi film industry.

The entertainer not only has fans in India but also overseas. And while millions of them celebrate his birthday, here are Prabhas’ upcoming films that will make your day better.

Radhe Shyam

Just before his birthday,  the makers of ‘Radhe Shyam’ released the first look of the film on Wednesday. “The big moment has arrived! Here’s introducing Prabhas as Vikramaditya in the latest poster of Radhe Shyam! #RadheShyamSurprise and #HappyBirthdayPrabhas,” co-star Pooja Hegde tweeted.

Written and directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, the multilingual film is expected to release in cinemas next year.

Untitled project with Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone

For the first time, Prabhas will be seen with Bollywood superstars Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone. Backed by Vyjayanthi Movies, the multilingual mega project will be directed by acclaimed director Nag Ashwin.

On October 9, Prabhas welcomed Big-B into this project and posted a greeting video on Instagram. “Finally, a dream coming true…Sharing screen space with the legendary @amitabhbachchan Sir!” he captioned the post.

The details of the untitled flick have not been revealed yet. However, the film is slated to release in 2022.

Adipurush

Prabhas is going to star in filmmaker Om Raut’s ‘Adipurush’, which is an adaptation of the epic Ramayana. Produced by T-Series, the multilingual 3D project was announced in August this year. The film crew is all set to start shooting in January 2021 with an aim to release in cinemas in 2022.
