Bastiodon – type, strength, weakness, stats

Bastiodon is a rock and steel type Pokemon and it evolves from Shieldon Pokemon. It is from 100 million years ago. It was originally found in the Sinnoh region and was introduced in Generation IV. Bastiodon is weak against fighting, ground and water Pokemon and strong against Ice, Flying, and Bug-type Pokemon.

Bastiodon has a triangular nose and cream-yellow eyes. It has bones on its face. The bones are hard and huge. Because of his bones, they were mistaken for its spine until after Bastiodon Pokemon was restored. It has dark gray  and square shaped head. It has two larger gray spikes in the upper corner three dark gray spots on the top . Its body is protected by gray ridge and dark gray spikes on its back and a plated tail. And it is mild and caring Pokemon same as Shieldon. It eats on grass and berries.

Bastiodon is based on ceratopsian dinosaur and it is a combination of bastion and don. It is vulnerable to ground, fighting and water type moves. Its tough face is harder than steel and has ability of repelling any attack. Like its base Pokemon Bastiodon has hidden ability of soundproof. It is a species of Shield Pokemon. Its height is 1.3 m and weight is 150 kg.

Bastiodon has a max Combat Power (CP) of 1539 and evolves from Shieldon which costs 50 candy. The best moves for Bastiodon are Iron Tail and Stone Edge. Its main moves are Flamethrower, Flash Cannon and Stone Edge.
