Delhi man with no limbs lands a job on Anand Mahindra’s tweet

Industrialist Anand Mahindra took to Twitter to post a clip of an amputee. In the caption, he says” Received this on my timeline today. I am awestruck by this gentleman who’s not just faced his disabilities but is grateful for what he has.”

The man can be seen driving a modified vehicle with the engine of a “scooty” for convenience. At the request of a passerby, he demonstrates the functioning of this modified vehicle. “I have two kids, a wife and an ageing father, that is why I work,” he said during the conversation. Pedestrians can be heard praising this man for his efforts. ”People with limbs do not work, but this man is working even after a disability,” a man said.

The chairman of the Mahindra group tagged Mahindra Logistics in hopes of giving this differently-abled man a job as a Business Associate for last-mile delivery. Mahindra Logistics replied, “We are trying to track him as soon as we can. He will be an asset to our country’s supply chain. A real superhero.”

The clip has racked up 420k views in 18 hours and has over 900 comments as well as 28.6k likes on Anand Mahindra’s account. Other, longer versions of this video are doing the rounds on social media platforms and have gained a lot of traction. With a following of 8.6 million, Anand Mahindra is fairly active on Twitter and utilizes the platform to express his opinions regularly.

In the comments section, people are applauding the perseverance and determination of the disabled man. Twitter users replied to this post with details of the amputee along with links to longer versions of the clip and thanked Anand Mahindra for his generosity. “Well done….
