The day to celebrate the victory of good over evil, Dusshera 2021 is here. The festival, which marks the onset of the festive season in India brings joy and happiness. Dusshera, a widely celebrated festival, especially in Northern India brings the five-day Durga Puja celebration to a close.

On this day, Lord Ram (a representation of goodness) killed Raavan (a representation of evil) to rescue the deity Seeta from Lanka after days of the war. This is why Dusshera is also called the ‘Vijaydashmi parv.’

Dussehra celebrations include the performance of Ram-Leela, in which the story of Ramayan is staged, burning Raavan effigies and fairs are also organised at various parts of the country.

Since the day is celebrated with huge fervour and love across the country. However, festivities are slightly different considering the COVID-19 protocols, one can still celebrate the day by exchanging these wishes. Here is how you can wish your loved ones on Dussehra 2021.
