India records 32,081 new COVID-19 cases, 402 more deaths

India on Wednesday recorded 32,081 new cases of COVID-19, according to the data released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Tuesday, while death toll reached 402 in the last 24 hours.

The latest numbers take the total case tally to 97,35,850 and 1,41,360 deaths until now.

There are 3,78,909 active COVID-19 cases while the total number of discharged cases stands at 92,15,581.

So far, India remains the second worst-hit nation in the world right after the US.
