The bucket list of Syed Mushtaq Ali sensation Mohammed Azharuddeen has gone viral after Manorama News uploaded a video of his house on YouTube. The 26-year-old dreams of representing India in the ICC 2023 World Cup which will be hosted in India.

Bursting onto scene in the Kerala’s Syed Mushtaq Ali draw against Mumbai, Azharuddeen – who gets his name after Indian legend Azharuddin – scored 137 runs off 54 deliveries at a strike rate of 253.7. His lit up the Wankhede Stadium with nine boundaries and 11 maximums, as Kerala beat Suryakumar Yadav and company by eight wickets. In doing so the Kasaragod-born player hit a 37-ball century, the joint third-fastest by an Indian player in the format.

After his heroics were lauded by pundits, fellow players and spectators, Azharuddeen has been deemed as the next big batsman from Kerala, a state that has the likes of Sanju Samson in its domestic circle. However, the player has been receiving his share of criticism as not counting the 137- run knock from his career statistics, his batting average comes down to 13.35 in the shortest format. Nonetheless, he has been soaring on trends since the glazing knock at Wankhede this week.

On Friday, it was Azharuddeen’s bucket list that did rounds on internet. He wants to play the Indian Premier League and dreams of scoring at least four centuries in the Ranji Trophy. The Kerala batsman also wishes to buy a house and own a Benz car, the list showed.

The win against Mumbai, helped Kerala to secure the second position on the Elite Group E table with eight points.
