A day after TV journalist Rohit Sardana, 42, died of Covid-19 complications, a video of his daughter is circulating on social media that will make you stop and think, and think again. Have we learned something from this crisis?

In about two and half minute video, one of the two daughters of Rohit Sardana, Nandika is seen reciting a poem in Hindi. She starts with a question-cum-statement %u201CKuch bhi to nahi seekha tumne, tum fhir waise ho jaoge, fhir daudoge din raat yuhi, tum fhir utpaat machaoge (you haven%u2019t learned anything, you will repeat the same (mistakes) again, you will again make a mess by roaming around)…%u201D, and ends with a message.

The young girl through her hard-hitting video threw several questions at us – the people who go around cribbing about the system, doctors, healthcare workers, police and the media. We don’t even realise the fact that while we are criticising everything from the comfort of our home, those frontline workers are working day and night to make sure that we can afford that luxury.

The video, which might have been shot sometime back, is being shared widely on social media with many calling it %u201CNandika%u2019s tribute%u201D to her late father, Rohit Sardana.

Rohit Sardana died of cardiac arrest a few days after testing positive for COVID-19. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
