Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra
Singh Dhoni recently informed his teammates that he will wait till all the
players in the franchise board their flights back home before returning home. Dhoni, former India captain, said that he will first wait for the overseas cricketers
to leave, and then for his fellow Indian players to take their flights back before
returning home in Ranchi, as per a report by The Indian Express.

The team is currently based in Delhi.

“Mahi bhai said that he will be the last
person to leave the hotel. He wanted foreigners to leave first, then the Indian
players. He will be taking the last flight tomorrow when everyone reaches their
home safe and secure,” Indian Express quoted a CSK member as saying.

IPL was suspended indefinitely by the
BCCI on Tuesday.

Balaji, batting coach Michael Hussey, and a member of the support staff testing
positive.

While a 40-member Australian contingent
has already left for the Maldives, a temporary stop on their way back
Australia, South African players have boarded their flights back to Johannesburg.
Cricketers from New Zealand, on the other hand, will be going back on Friday.
