The Mumbai Police filed an almost 1500-page chargesheet against businessman Raj Kundra, claiming that he ran the day-to-day operations of the porn film racket from the Viaan industries’ Mumbai office.

The chargesheet also reveals that the Mumbai Police sees Raj Kundra as the main facilitator in the porn film case.

Other than Kundra, the chargesheet also included claims against his associate Ryan Thorpe before a magistrate court by the crime branch.

Meanwhile, Shilpa Shetty told the Mumbai Police she was occupied with her work and was unaware of husband Raj Kundra’s operations, according to a copy of her statement to Mumbai Police obtained by The Indian Express.

This comes after reports that actor Shilpa Shetty Kundra is planning life ahead away from her incarcerated husband Raj Kundra.

Businessman Raj Kundra was arrested by the Mumbai Police’s Crime Branch on July 19 in a case related to the creation and distribution of pornographic content. He is struggling to get bail in the case, with the Mumbai Police labelling him as the ‘key conspirator’ of the whole porn racket.

It is claimed that recent events in Kundra’s life have led to wife Shilpa Shetty wanting to distance her children from her father’s misbegotten wealth.

Previously, Shilpa posted an excerpt from a book  on Instagram stories. It begins with a quote by Sophia Loren, which reads, “Mistakes are the part of the dues one pays for a full life.”

“We can’t make our lives interesting without making a few mistakes here and there. We hope that they won’t be dangerous mistakes or mistakes that hurt other people. But there will be mistakes. We can see our mistakes as things we’d like to forget or as our most interesting, challenging and stimulating experiences. Not because of the mistakes themselves but because of what we learned from them,”  reads the excerpt.

The note concluded, “I’m going to make mistakes, I will forgive myself and learn from them.” Shilpa added a sticker that read, “Made a mistake but it’s okay.” It was unclear what mistake Shilpa was referring to.

The latest chargesheet against Kundra also details the evidence against two other wanted accused in the case, Yash Thakur and Sandeep Bakshi.

The Mumbai Police claimed two apps, Hotshots and Bollyfame, were used to upload pornographic content online by Kundra and his associates.
