Singer Kumar Sanu tests positive for COVID-19

- His Los Angeles based wife said that he has plans to visit her in November
Singer Kumar Sanu, who is one of the most successful singers of Bollywood and has received several awards for his songs, has tested positive for COVID-19. The singer is currently making news for his son Jaan Kumar Sanu who is one of the contestants of the reality show “Bigg Boss 14”.
Confirming the news, the noted singer’s team wrote on his official Facebook page, “Unfortunately Sanuda has tested Corona positive, please pray for his good health. Thank you Team KS.”
The singer was supposed to meet his family— wife Saloni and daughters, Shannon and Annabel, in Los Angeles for his birthday on October 20.
According to a Times of India report, BMC has sealed the floor he stays on as a mandatory precautionary measure and his wife said that “He will come to the US on Nov 8 if he feels alright by then.”
In one of the recent “Bigg Boss” episodes, Jaan said that he was raised by his mother, Rita Bhattacharya, after his parents separated when she was six months pregnant.
“For me, my mother plays the role of both parents. My parents separated when my mother was six months pregnant with me hence I have grown up with her only since childhood,” said Jaan while opening up about his bond with his mother in “Bigg Boss Extra Masala”, which is available on Colors channel and Voot.
