Sushant Singh Rajput death case: NCB detains Samuel Miranda in drug probe

- Samuel Miranda, former manager of Sushant Singh Rajput, was detained for questioning
- Rhea's brother Showik is also under scanner for his alleged links with drug dealers
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Friday detained former manager of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Miranda was detained under provisions of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, news agency ANI reported quoting an official. Earlier in the morning, the agency carried out simultaneous searches at the houses actor Rhea Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda.
The anti-narcotics agency has arrested two people in connection with the drug trafficking probe linked to the case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. Rhea’s brother Showik is also under the scanner for his purported links with the people arrested by the NCB .
Rhea is facing investigations by the NCB, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on money laundering charges and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with Rajput’s death
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his flat in Mumbai’s Bandra on June 14. The Mumbai Police has initially said that the 34-year-old actor died by suicide, however, the case was later transferred to the CBI following a Supreme Court’s order on the plea of Rajput’s family.
