Actor Bhavya Gandhi’s father dies due to COVID

23-year-old actor Bhavya Gandhi, famous for his role as Tipendra Jethalal Gada aka Tapu in ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, lost his father, Vinod Gandhi, due to COVID-19 on Tuesday. According to indianexpress.com, the actor has confirmed his father’s death.
The actor’s father tested positive for the coronavirus weeks ago and was fighting for his life at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Ambani Hospital.

Bhavya played Jethalal’s (played by Dilip Joshi) son in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah after working in the show as a child artist for eight years. He left the show in 2017. He was also seen in few Gujarati films, including Papa Tamne Nahi Samjhay, Striker, Baap Kamaal Dikro Dhamaal and more.
