Triveniganj constituency re-elects JD(U) candidate Veena Bharti

The Triveniganj assembly constituency elected MLA Veena Bharti of the Janata Dal United by defeating Santosh Kumar of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) in 2020.

The seat is one of Bihar’s 243 assembly constituencies and is located in the Supaul district of Bihar, it is also a reserved seat for scheduled castes.

MLA Veena Bharti won 89,869 votes in the constituency, defeating LJP candidate Anant Kumar Bharti by a margin of 37,397 votes in 2015. In 2020, Bharti won 79,262 votes.
