‘Unless he was in toilet’: SRH not sending Bairstow in super over leaves Twitter baffled

Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Delhi Capitals match on Sunday ended with the latter winning in a nail-biting super over. First came SRH’s Kane Williamson and David Warner on the crease and the duo scored 7 runs in the over bowled by DC’s Axar Patel. The skipper Rishabh Pant-led team won the match in the last ball that was bowled by Afghan spinner Rashid Khan.

More than the excitement over the super over, what left Twitter baffled was the Hyderabad team not sending Jonny Bairstow in the crucial over, even though he scored 38 off 18 balls.

The main innings of the match ended with a draw with both teams scoring 159 in 20 overs. The DC, however, came out victorious at the end.
