UP Metro Rail Recruitment 2022: All you need to know

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the new section of the Kanpur Metro, which has been in the works in 2019 and costs Rs 11,000 crores. With this, Uttar Pradesh now has metro lines in five cities.
Recently, the department of Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail
Corporation (Lucknow Metro) officially released application forms for the recruitment
of some posts, including Assistant Manager and Junior Engineer in the Executive and
Non-Executive category. In the 2022 recruitment, many new posts are said to open up. The recruitment scheme is a
golden opportunity to grab for all those who wish to work in the Railways.
To check the vacancies and eligibility criteria, a candidate
must go to the official website.
Tentative dates for online registration, last date to
register, application fee payment deadline, admit card, and exam dates will be
released soon on the official website.

To be eligible for the UP Metro Railway Recruitment, a
candidate must have a bachelors degree in any course or stream from a recognized
university. Furthermore, the minimum and maximum age to apply for recruitment is
21 to 28 years respectively.
If eligibility criteria is matched, a candidate can start
applying through the official website of the authority. After opening the site,
the candidate needs to click on the “LMRC 2002” link. After clicking, all applicants
must ensure that they have read all the notifications carefully in the
application form provided. After filling up one’s details, the candidate is
required to upload his/her signature and passport sized photograph.

Finally, the candidate must complete the payment process,
and review his/her application before submitting.
It is compulsory to pay the application fees for the exam.
For applicants belonging to the general category, the fee is Rs. 590. For those
belonging to the SC/ST category, the application fee is Rs. 236.
Candidates will be given the option of various payment
methods including net banking, credit card, and debit card.
A candidate will be selected on the basis of the written
test, verification of documents and a medical examination.
Exam centers for the recruitment exam are in Kanpur, Lucknow,
Agra, Varanasi, Allahabad, Meerut, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Bareilly, Gautam Buddha Nagar
Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Moradabad, Muzafarrnagar, and Aligarh.
The admit card will be posted online on the portal in January
2022. Applicants can download their admit cards by typing their name and date
of birth. It is important to note that candidates will not be allowed to enter
the exam hall without carrying their admit cards.
The results will be announced online on the official site. Applicants
will be able to check their results through typing their name and role number
on the site.
