Viral: Phone battery bursts into flames while repairing

A shocking footage
shows a mobile phone’s battery exploding as a man is  repairing the device
at his shop in Thai Nguyen, Vietnam. The  incident was captured on camera
and the footage was shared on YouTube by ViralHog on November 17. The video is
viral on the internet, having been viewed by more than 4,500 people.

The accident
occurred at a repair shop in Thai Nguyen, Vietnam. In the video, a man is seen
fixing the phone on his desk. After a while, a loud bang is heard as the phone
catches fire. Terrified, the man repairing   the phone throws it away.
There is a man standing behind the repair man at the counter who also runs.

The video was
shared with the caption, “The worker was repairing the phone when the phone
battery exploded. Luckily no one was injured,” ViralHog

As the video went viral, netizens shared their thoughts in the comments section. “Imagine if a smartphone exploded in the owner’s pocket,” a user said. Another comment reads, “Wow, glad the guy is okay.”

Yet another person wrote, “Likely the phone already had a knock-off battery.”

Users were glad that the repair man escaped unscathed. Praising his presence of mind, one user wrote, “Smooth operator, tossing it to the floor like a dirty towel.”
