Where is the Greenwood Park Mall in Indiana?

The Greenwood Park is a shopping mall that stands along U.S. Highway 31 on the south side of the Indianapolis Area. The mall, much like other malls in central Indiana is owned by the Simon Property Group.
Unfortunately, the Greenwood Park Mall, has become the site of a tragic gunman attack. The shooting has left two person dead and three more injured, according to information provided by the Greenwood Police. Law enforcement have confirmed that the shooter is also dead although local media is unclear about whether the gunman is amongst the two dead or an extra death.

A gunman fired 20 shots into the food court just after 6 pm. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department arrived to help the Greenwood Police. The mall was emptied by first responders. In the aftermath of the shooting, the IMPD in a press conference said that there was no imminent danger.

Police squads have descended on the mall as they comb through the premises of the place to make sure there are no other active shooters, any remaining injured or hiding residents.
The mall is named after the city it was built in, Greenwood. The city is in Johnson County in Indiana. The city of Greenwood shares its borde with the Indian’s state capital, Indianapolis. It is the most populated suburban area of the Indianapolis Metropolitan area. The city stands on land originally occupied by the indigenous Lenape people. Following the signing of the 1818 Treaty of St. Mary’s between the Lenape tribe and the European settlers, the first cabin was built by settlers John B. and Isaac Smock.
