Who is Lipin Nehra?

In rapper Sidhu Moosewala’s murder case, a man Lipin Nehra has been identified as the one who supplied the shooters Deepak Mundi and Kashish Kuldeep, who eventually opened fire and killed the artist-turned-politician. 

Who is Lipin Nehra?

Nehra is believed to be a gangster who hails from Gurgaon but lives in Canada. His Instagram bio notes Nehra was born on March 9 and is 26 years old. He describes himself as a fitness lover and appears to have a fascination for fast cars. 

Nehra also has a tattoo on his arm dedicated to his brother, Pawan Nehra. The latter’s Instagram profile suggests that the Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan police know more about the individual, hinting at a life outside the law. 

Nehra’s fascination is not just with cars,  but guns as well, as evidenced in an Instagram post where he appears to be examining a shotgun barrel in front of a couple of cars. 

Reports suggest Nehra is studying in Canada and his name was revealed when the Delhi police caught up to the shooter. Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi had taken responsibility for the killing, but as per the shooter, it was Nehra who supplied him with the killers.

The individual doesn’t seem to have denied his link to the Moosewala killing, instead sharing a series of stories with news articles which speak of his involvement in the Same Beef rapper’s murder.

His reactions in the stories indicate Nehra basking in the limelight as his link to the murder has come forth. 

Sidhu Moosewala, who’d joined Congress, was shot dead in the Mansa district of Punjab in June. This happened a day after the Punjab government ordered the withdrawal of security for 424 people, including the rapper. As per police reports, several bullets hit Moosewala and he was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, where he was pronounced dead.
