Marvel fans can%u2019t contain their excitement as the much-awaited film, Black Widow, is all set to release in theatres as well as on OTT platforms. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the release of this film. The release of the movie was delayed several times due to the ongoing pandemic.

However, the highly anticipated Marvel Studios film Black Widow is all set to release on Disney+ Hotstar in North America and several other countries on July 9. But it seems, Indian fans have to wait for some more time to watch the film.

The main reason being there is no ‘Premium Access’ feature in India’s version of Disney+ Hotstar. Owing to the current pandemic situation several films have decided on either direct-to-OTT or simultaneous releases in theatres and OTT platforms.

Whereas, the film is expected to be available to the Indian viewers on 8 October 2021 when it’ll become available to all Disney plus users. Outside India, all the premiere access films are made free within a timespan of few months and that is exactly when Disney+Hotstar will stream Black Widow for all Indian viewers.

The concept of simultaneously releasing films in theatres as well as OTT platforms was driven by a decision made by Disney plus Hotstar’s rival studio, Warner Bros. The rival studio also announced that all their films in 2021 would be both released in theatres and on HBO Max, on the same day. Scarlett Johansson aka Natasha Romanoff is seen as the lead actor of the movie.
