World Water Day 2022: Theme, quotes, and wishes

Every year on March 22nd, the world celebrates World Water Day. The purpose of the day is to emphasise the importance of freshwater. It is used to promote the long-term management of freshwater resources. The inaugural World Water Day was commemorated in 1993.

The primary goal of World Water Day is to motivate people to take action in support of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6: providing safe drinking water and sanitation to everyone by 2030.
