‘Dumbest thing ever done’: YouTuber MrBeast spends 50 hours buried alive

YouTuber MrBeast, real name — Jimmy Donaldson, has gone viral after he spent 50 hours buried alive. Although the mere thought of being buried alive can send chills down one’s spine, MrBeast did it for entertaining his more than 57.5 million subscribers.

This is “probably the dumbest thing I’ve ever done,” Donaldson says in the beginning but goes on to survive the next 50 hours in a box, with a blanket, food, pillow, empty bottles, among the essential supplies.

He uses a walkie-talkie to talk to his friends, who explain how Donaldson was able to survive in the box and that a medic was on standby.

The 50 hour-long stunt was compressed into a 12-minute clip. “This was the most insane thing I’ve ever done,” he wrote in the caption.

The video has become massively hit and has garnered more than 54.6 million times since it was uploaded on March 28.

Donaldson has, in a way, cracked the code for a viral YouTube video with most of his clips being streamed more than 25 million times.

His video, ‘Anything you can fit in the circle I’ll pay’ has been streamed more than 101 million times and ‘I went back to first grade for a day’ has been watched 91 million times.
