Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal will be just one wicket away from overtaking his teammate and pacer Jasprit Bumrah as the top wicket-taker for India in T20Is when he steps in the ground to face the West Indies on Sunday.

In the second T20I on Friday, Chahal got West Indies opener, Kyle Mayers, out. Currently, he has 66 wickets in 52 matches, while Bumrah has taken an equal number of wickets in 55 matches.

As Bumrah is rested for the three-match T20I series, Chahal has the chance to overtake and pacer and put some distance between the two of them as well.

Chahal made his T20I debut against Zimbabwe in June 2016 in Harare. However, it was in a T20I series against England later in the season when he got himself a fixed spot in the squad.
