Loud sound heard in and around Karnataka’s Shivamogga

A loud sound was heard in and around Shivamogga in Karnataka at around 10:20 pm on Thursday, reported news agency ANI. 

According to local media, people have come out of their homes and are in a state of shock. There are reports of glasses being shattered.

People started posting on Twitter about it and many users believed it to be an earthquake. One of the user wrote, “Never experienced such a massive sound in my life. Whole Shivamogga experienced this sound… Don’t know what has happened. Just now received my cousin’s call from tirthahalli, even there they have heard the same sound… Yenaythu antha yarigu gottilla !!”
