Apple is all set to host its Apple Event on September 14, 2021. Going by the tech giants’ invitation, the event is also being called ‘California Streaming’. The event that will be held at Apple Park, California will reportedly witness the launch of the iPhone 13 series and Apple Watch Series 7 and Apple AirPods 3.

In the run-up to the event, the company is leaving no stones unturned to gather much attention and conversation on different social media platforms.
Like last year’s event, this year, too, Apple in collaboration with Twitter has turned the micro-blogging sites’ Like icon into an Apple logo when you click it. The logo will appear briefly when a user likes a post.

However, there is a catch. The Like button will only change briefly into an Apple logo for the posts which have #AppleEvent hashtag in them.
In the build-up to Tuesday’s special event, Twitter users have been witnessing a half flag icon since September 7.

Users who tap the Like icon will see the icon change from a heart outline to the neon Apple logo. After a few seconds, the Apple logo will spin around to display a filled heart icon.
As some of the users are enjoying this little feature, the animation reportedly does not work for all users as some browsers like Chrome do not show the altered icon. However, the animation does appear in the iOS and macOS versions of the Twitter app.
But it is still uncertain how long will Twitter will use the modified Like animation.
Last year at the ‘Time Flies’ event that was organised by Apple, Twitter announced a unique animation for Likes on tweets that had the #AppleEvent hashtag.
