Canadian rock n’ roll singer Bryan Adams tested positive for coronavirus on Thursday on his arrival at Milan’s Malpensa Airport in Italy, his second infection in a month . Adams shared the news in an Instagram post with a picture of him in a room after he was tested for the virus, followed by another one where he was being taken for a PCR test via an ambulance. The singer appeared to be fit and was wearing a surgical mask in the pictures.

“Here I am, just arrived in Milano, and I’ve tested positive for the second time in a month for COVID. So it’s off to the hospital for me,” Adams said. He continued by thanking his fans for supporting him in these challenging times.

Having established himself as a renowned photographer, Bryan Adams shot the 2022 Pirelli calendar, after the shoot for the 2021 version got canceled due to the unprecedented conditions brought about by the pandemic. To promote the calendar, Adams was expected to appear in an in-person press conference.

For his calendar this year, Adams had chosen the subjects “On the road,” other musical talents, including Iggy Pop, Cher, Jennifer Hudson, Saweetie, and St. Vincent.

The Pirelli calendar is a rather gala event witnessing the appearance of various important personalities. However, this year muted celebrations marked the event due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
