By 11 pm ET on Saturday, the Orchard Park region was predicted to have more than a foot of snow, but that amount might potentially approach 20 inches if the storm tracks 20 miles north or south. Local authorities have declared a lake-effect emergency in the area and have issued warnings in advance.

In December, it is frigid with a nighttime start and 10 mph winds will make it seem like 20 degrees with a 100% probability of snow.

The Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins are squaring off with the AFC East on the line for the second time this season. With a record of 10-3 this year and the best record in the AFC, the Bills head the division going into the NFL matchup on Saturday.

The Bills have won four straight games right now, but one of their three losses was against Miami in Week 3. The Dolphins, who are 8-5 overall and 3-4 on the road, will look to snap a two-game losing streak on Saturday.

The Bills–Dolphins rivalry is an NFL rivalry of note. Since the 1966 season, the teams, which are part of the AFC East, have played twice a year. The Dolphins have a 61-51-1 advantage in the 113 regular-season meetings between the two teams as of 2022. Additionally, the clubs have faced off four times in the NFL postseason. The 1992 AFC Championship Game was the Bills’ only postseason victory, giving them a record of 3-1.
