India will be confident going into the series with a series win. Although it will be the hosts that will be entering the tournament with good momentum after they defeated India in the last T20I.
The star trio of Ben Stokes, Joe Root, and Bairstow returning to the team would also help the hosts. Roy will be joined at the top by Jonny Bairstow while Jos Buttler moves down the order. Reece Topley’s ability to alter his tempo and change up his lengths and angles was one of the T20Is’ highlights. India, meanwhile, will mis the services of Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Virat Kohli‘s deteriorating form is also one of the many concerns the visitors are facing.
