NBA Finals: Phoenix Suns face Milwaukee Bucks in do-or-die game

The Phoenix Suns will face Milwaukee Bucks in a do-or-die match on Tuesday in game 6 of the NBA Finals. The Suns, who are playing their first NBA playoffs, are trailing 2-3 in the best-of-seven series. 

Suns guard Devin Booker has scored over 40 points in the last two games that the Milwaukee Bucks won. Ahead of game 6, Booker said that the Suns need to do better as a team. “Be better, as a whole collective group,” Booker said. “We all know what’s at stake and what’s on the line. Everybody is going to have to give a little bit more because what we’ve done hasn’t been enough.”

Here are the starting lineups:

Phoenix Suns: Chris Paul, Devin Booker, Mikal Bridges, Jae Crowder and Deandre Ayton.

Milwaukee Bucks: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday, PJ Tucker and Brook Lopez.

Suns coach Monty Williams has seen his team display resilience several times in the playoffs and knows it will help after dropping game five.

“It’s certainly a point of focus moving forward,” Williams said. “We have a level of bounce-back on our team that allows for us to get the spirit back.

“We’re in the finals. We got here for a reason and our guys can glean confidence from that.”

The Bucks, in their first finals since 1974, would capture their first crown since 1971 by winning Tuesday.

“The whole city is buzzing,” Bucks guard PJ Tucker said. “Everybody wants it.”

That just makes it tougher to stay in the moment for Giannis Antetokounmpo, who knows the Suns must win to force a seventh game Thursday at Phoenix.
