SAN Francisco 49ers and Brock Purdy scored first against the New York Giants.
Purdy led the 49ers to the first touchdown of the game on their third drive by passing to rookie Ronnie Bell for the score.

Bryce Young was the first pick of the 2023 NFL Draft. Carolina Panthers picked him. CJ Strod, No 2, was selected by the Houston Texans. Will Anderson Jr and Anthony Richardson went next. After a round one disappointment, Will Levis of the Kentucky Wildcats was picked at No 33 by the Tennessee Titans.

Now Twitter users are discussing who will be the last pick on Saturday. Houston Texans will pick him.
“This is just as sick as it goes.. mayonnaise and Will Levis should have went as Mr Irrelevant!” a Twitter user said.
“In every draft, i am always looking forward to the “Mr Irrelevant” to me he is the most important person in drafts. It could be a turning point for the young lad! Maybe one day that guy could win an MVP or many championships! Congrats to all draftees, make it count! #NFLDraft,” another one added.
Brock Purdy, Mr Irrelevant in 2022, led the San Francisco 49ers after Trey Lance and Jimmy Garoppolo got injured mid-season. The 23-year-old went a perfect 5-0 in his five starts in the regular season. He completed 114 passes for 1,374 yards along with 13 touchdowns.
Only linebacker Tae Crowder had more starts than Purdy as Mr Irrelevant.
