Philadelphia Eagles sign LBs Myles Jack, Zach Cunningham | Complete linebacker depth chart
The Philadelphia Eagles have now added a pair of linebackers on Sunday as they continue to tweak their roster. Myles Jack and Zach Cunningham have signed one-year contracts with Philadelphia, the team announced.

The Eagles had just five off-ball linebackers on the roster before to this move, and one of them was injured. The Eagles’ linebacker position was a glaring weakness throughout training camp this summer through six practices, but they have already resolved it.
Jack, who will be 28 in September, played in 15 games with Pittsburgh last season, starting 13 of them. In 692 defensive snaps, he recorded 104 tackles, three tackles for a loss, and three passes defended. Jack, a 2016 second-round pick by the Jaguars, has made 103 appearances with 95 starts.

Jack started his career with the Jaguars, playing there for six seasons until joining the Steelers for the 2022 season. Jack made 104 tackles in 2022 while playing in 15 games, including 13 starts. According to ProFootballFocus, he finished the season in 65th place out of 81 linebackers.
Cunningham, 28, was selected in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft and has a wealth of starting experience. Cunningham has started 76 of the 82 games he has appeared in during his career.

Cunningham spent the first 4 1/2 seasons of his career with the Houston Texans. During the 2021 season, the Texans released him, and the Titans picked him up. In February, they gave him a release. Cunningham played in just six games all of last season.
