There have been two player/non-player conflicts on Monday Night Football in a row that have resulted in a police report.

Last week, a trespasser who was thrown to the ground by Rams linebacker Bobby Wagner filed a police report, which in our opinion was a publicity stunt. This week, Raiders receiver Davante Adams shoved a photographer who had every right to be close to the field to the ground.

The man has reported to the police, reported TMZ.com. He claims that he was hurt and that he was afterward taken to a hospital.

The man is seen trying to scurry past Adams. Adams leans out and pushes the man to the ground with both hands. Adams continues to move forward after the man has fallen.

The incident is being examined by the league. Suspension is a possibility.

Adams apologised after the game.

“I want to apologize to the guy, there was some guy running off the field, and he ran, like jumped in front of me coming off the field and I bumped into him, kind of pushed him, and he ended up on the ground,” Adams said.”So I wanted to say sorry to him for that because that was just frustration mixed with him literally just running in from of me. I shouldn’t have responded that way, but that’s how I initially responded. So, I want to apologize to him for that.”

Adams stepped over the line. Aware of it, the NFL will also take action to let Adams and others know that such an event shouldn’t and cannot happen.

Adams, who was acquired by the Green Bay Packers in a historic offseason deal, is subject to punishment from the NFL, ESPN reported citing sources.

After wasting a 17-0 lead in the second quarter, the Raiders, who dropped to 1-4 with the defeat, enter their bye week.

After participating in the Raiders’ final offensive play with 46 seconds left in the game, Adams, who had three catches for 124 yards and touchdowns of 58 and 48 yards, was obviously upset as he left the field.
