The sport of cricket has changed over the years. Along with new formats and regulations, the way it is played has also evolved. From reverse swings to knuckle balls, players have come up with new ways to adapt to changing times.

The way players field, too, has changed. Modern cricketers can be considered fitter and more athletic, which reflects on their fielding. In recent years, players have surprised fans with spectacular catches and save at the boundary.

During the Big Bash League match between Sydney Sixers and Hobart Hurricanes on Thursday at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart, Sixers’ batsman Jordan Silk made a stunning effort at the boundary to save a six.

During the 15th over, Silk dived beyond the boundary rope, caught the ball and threw it inside before touching the ground.

Glenn Maxwell took to Twitter and shared a clip of the save. He said, “This is so bloody good. How good is the BBL?”
