Wide receiver Drake London plays for the National Football League’s (NFL) Atlanta Falcons. In the NFL Draft of 2022, the Falcons selected him as the eighth overall pick.

London studied at California’s Moorpark High School. In high school, he participated in both basketball and football. He collected 62 receptions for 1,089 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior football player. He had a 29.2 point, 11.9 rebounds, and 3.8 assist average as a senior in basketball. London decided to play basketball and football at the University of Southern California (USC) since he excelled in both sports.
In the 2019–20 season, he played in two games for the USC basketball team after missing five due to a viral illness in January. But what has grabbed attention is his football ability, which began with a good true freshman campaign in 2019. (93-567-14.5, five TDs in 13 games, nine starts). In 2020, London started all six games for the Trojans, finished second on the All-Pac-12 second team, and led the team with 502 receiving yards . He lead his team with 88 receptions, 1,084 receiving yards.

London also impressed Associated Press voters and league coaches by tying for the team lead with seven touchdowns in just eight starts. AP voters named him to the third team All-American and the league coaches named him Offensive Player of the Year, first-team all-conference
London injured his right ankle during Trojans’ eighth game of the 2021 campaign, requiring him to miss the remainder of the year. London made a 2022 NFL Draft declaration on December 17, 2021.

The Atlanta Falcons took London with the eighth overall pick in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft. The estimated value of London’s rookie contract is $24.66 million. The rookie receiver will have a $4.48 million cap hit in 2022. Over the following four years, the cap hit will increase by nearly $1 million.
