Womens T20 Challenge: Supernovas face Velocity in opening game in Sharjah

Two time champions Supernovas and Velocity will play in the opening match of the third edition of Women’s T20 Challenge on Wednesday.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had announced the schedule and the squads for the third edition of Women’s T20 Challenge earlier in October.
The three teams participating in the tournament are Supernovas, Velocity, Trailblazers. Smriti Mandhana, Harmanpreet Kaur and Mithali Raj will lead the three teams – Trailblazers, Supernovas and Velocity.
According to the schedule released by the BCCI, the playoff matches are scheduled from Wednesday to Sunday with the finals taking place on November 9. The Dubai International Stadium, Dubai, and Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi will hold all these games.
The Qualifier 1 will be hosted at Dubai on Thursday and it will be followed by the Eliminator on Friday and Qualifier 2 on Sunday in Abu Dhabi. The final will be held on 10th November in Dubai.
