IPL 2022 auction: Why are Mumbai Indians not buying? Potential reasons behind the wait

When other franchises were done building most of their core for the upcoming IPL season, the Mumbai Indians’ list included only eight players with Rs 27.85 crore remaining in their kitty. The five-time champions broke the bank for Ishan Kishan on day one, making him the second-costliest player in the league but they passed on all marquee players, who could have formed the base for their sixth title.
