Late singer Aaron Carter conveyed that he wanted to help rapper Kanye West turn his “life around” in an interview before his death.

Carter criticized West before expressing his desire to reach out to the controversial rapper. Pop star Carter explicitly criticized West’s choice of donning a White Lives Matter shirt during a Yeezy show.

“In my opinion right now, Kanye, you f – – king stupid as s – – t for f – – king putting out a f – – king ‘White Lives Matter’ shirt when the white population isn’t being targeted and dealing with prejudice and racism and all of this bulls – – t,” said Carter, “that’s what Black Lives Matter stood for, is that. All the injustice that’s been done to the Black community.”

Carter further said, “so when I saw [Kanye West’s shirt], I was like, ‘You know what, what the f – – k is he doing? Because I’m like, ‘Bro, seriously? You stupid as f – – k. You’re a broke a – – boy.”

Despite the singer’s fierce criticism, he expressed the desire to record a track together with West. “I would do a song with Kanye just because he’s controversial and he’s got a great mind,” the I’m All About You singer said.

Carter also said that he would like to have a discussion with West about the rapper’s life decisions and controversies. “Maybe I could sit him down and have an intellectual conversation with him on how to turn your f—— stupid life around when you’re being stupid like me,” he said.

“Yo Kanye let’s talk… man to man” Carter wrote in his final tweet before his death.

The tweet sparked multiple conspiracy theories; West’s fans said that Carter was silenced before he could come to the rapper’s aid.

Kanye West has been a controversial figure lately, with his endorsement of White Lives Matter, his constant anti-semitic statements, and his alleged bullying of other celebrities on online platforms, the most recent example being his feud with Vogue editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson.
