2 killed in Baltimore shooting, search underway for suspects

Search was underway for suspects after at least two people were killed and two others injured in a shooting that took place in Southwest Baltimore on Friday morning, CBS News reported.
Police said the shooting took place around 10:30 am near the intersection of North Avenue and North Longwood Street. Cops were searching for a stolen car, which they found with doors open on the 3100 block of West North Avenue. At the same time, they saw people running and eventually found two men shot. While one of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene, the other was rushed to a local hospital where he died.

Another victim, a 27-year-old man, was found in a home on the 3100 block of West North Avenue with non-life-threatening injuries.
Cops then found a 63-year-old woman waiting at a bus stop a block away with gunshot wound to her ankle.

Authorities said the first person shot appeared to be targeted while the others were apparently not targets.
Investigators believe the the suspects exited the stolen car at West North Avenue and then stole another vehicle to flee the scene. They, however, crashed into another vehicle shortly after stealing it before fleeing the scene on foot.

The victim and the driver of the second vehicle were not injured.
Police believe there are three suspects in the shooting but did not provide their description.
