The school was reportedly put under lockdown because the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office was serving a warrant in the area. The school district said no shots were fired on campus, and the school is no longer on lockdown.

Teri Barbera, a spokeswoman for the sheriff’s office, said there was no shooting. However, she did not give any other details.

“People was worried and scared. Once the school reinforced that everything was OK and the police came within minutes to cease the crowd and try to conduct a little bit of order, it went roughly smooth after that. But it was crazy at first,” he added.

Meanwhile, the sheriff’s office, in a tweet, said that officers responded to a shooting at the S. Four Seasons road. An injured woman was taken to the hospital.

“At about 11:26 am, we responded to a shooting at S. Four Seasons Rd, in unincorporated Palm Beach Gardens. There, we found a woman suffering from gunshot wound(s), so she was transported to a hospital. The suspect is possibly known to the victim. Anyone with information, DM us,” the tweet read.

No other details have been released.
