Best picture, best actor: Sacha Baron Cohen’s ‘Borat’ wins top honours at Golden Globes

‘Borat Subsequent Moviefilm’ on Sunday (Monday in India) won the Best Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy award at the Golden Globe, while the movie actor Sacha Baron Cohen won the Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy.
The Borat 2, subsequent movie is a satire that sees his Kazakh television personality character (played by Cohen) encounter American politics and culture.
The other nominations in the Best Motion Picture (Musical or Comedy) series were: Hamilton, Palm Springs, Music, and The Prom.
While, the other nominees in the Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy were James Corden, (The Prom); Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton); Dev Patel (The Personal History of David Copperfield); Andy Samberg (Palm Springs).
