Donald Trump campaign files renewed lawsuit in Pennsylvania
- Donald Trump's campaign has filed an amended complaint on Sunday
- It has removed the claims that said election officials violated its constitutional rights
- The renewal move comes amid the losses in the Trump campaign’s legal efforts
US President Donald Trump’s campaign scrapped major parts of its lawsuit challenging Pennsylvania’s election results on Sunday.
The campaign has removed the claims that said election officials violated its constitutional rights by limiting the ability of their observers to watch votes being counted, Washington Post reported.
Renewing the legal efforts, his lawyers filed a complaint that alleges disparate treatment of absentee and mail-in ballots across the state.

Notably, Trump and his attornies have repeatedly said that votes in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh should be considered invalid.
However, the renewal move comes amid the campaign losses in the Trump campaign’s legal efforts, which alleged that voter fraud, irregularities and rule-breaking led to President-elect Joe Biden’s victory.
The latest vote tallies gave Biden a clear win in the state-by-state Electoral College that decides the presidency, with 306 votes against Trump’s 232. Two hundred and seventy votes are required for election.
